About our School

Welcome to Chapin Intermediate School

Chapin Intermediate School serves students in Grades 5 and 6 in the Chapin attendance zone of School District 5 of Lexington and Richland Counties. Chapin Intermediate occupies the former site of Chapin Middle School at 1130 Old Lexington Hwy.  We look forward to partnering with you to continue the tradition of excellence in District 5 schools.

Students attending CES and CIS share bus routes. Students are dropped off and picked up at their designated school.

Students in grades K-6 in the LMES attendance area share bus routes. K-4 students are dropped off at LMES and then 5th and 6th grade students are taken to CIS.
